We look forward to welcoming you to Achieve Dungarvan. Achieve is a newly opened study and grinds hub in the heart of Dungarvan, ideally situated on the corner of Mary Street and Grattan Square (Old Ulster bank). We cater to both
local students and those fromacross CountyWaterford and East Cork. This new venture is the brain child of local mother and son team Dolores and Michael Kiely who saw a need for expert guidance and tuition for secondary level students in preparation for Junior and Leaving Certificate Examinations.
Michael, head of Education at Achieve is a devoted teacher in CBS Dungarvan as well as dedicated member of Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA and Waterford Senior Hurler. He graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Physical Education from University of Limerick in 2022. Michael is well aware both on and off the field of play, the dedication, hard work and preparation it takes to succeed.
Dolores Kiely is Achieve’s Business head with years of experience in Glaxosmithkline,Waterford Crystal, Hygiene Excellence and procurement industries. After putting her own children through the education system, Dolores realised that for a lot of students the scope and scale of the State Examination Curriculum, requires additional supports and guidance outside of school hours. Just a two minute walk from local transportation services such as the local Link, Achieve is ideally situated to those students arriving in to study from local Colleges and students coming fromout of town. Achieve will support students to reach their academic endeavours. Through concentrated study sessions six days a week; after school on weekdays and daytime study on Saturday. Grinds are also available in key subject areas such as Maths, Irish, Business, Accounting, Chemistry and Biology. Achieve will run comprehensive recap and exam preparation courses over school holidays at Christmas and Easter for Leaving Certificate students in order to maximise each students potential in the run up to exams.
